Evil Dead: Em Chamas hits Brazilian cinemas with new post‑credits scenes

The horror sequel "A Morte do Demônio: Em Chamas" (Evil Dead: Em Chamas) directed by Sébastien Vaniček is now playing in cinemas across Brazil, including multiple venues in Salvador such as Cineflix Shopping Bela Vista, Cinépolis Shopping Salvador Norte, and UCI Orient. The film stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas and features additional cast members Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, and Tandi Wright.

Two post‑credits scenes have drawn attention. In the first, the character Polly (Maude Davey) escapes a burning house only to be rescued by a driver who is then attacked by the possessed grandmother. The second scene returns to the funeral home where Ellie Bixler (Alyssa Sutherland), the antagonist from the previous installment, confronts a child and declares, “A mamãe está volta!”. Critics have given the film a 76% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and audiences are responding to its blend of classic 1970s‑style horror aesthetics and new narrative twists.
