Evil Empire announces final update for The Rogue Prince of Persia

Evil Empire, the developer of The Rogue Prince of Persia, has announced that the game has reached over one million players worldwide. Alongside this milestone, the studio confirmed that the recently released Anniversary Update serves as the final content update for the title.

The Anniversary Update introduced several new features, including combat arenas with tougher enemy waves, a new speed run mode with built-in timers, and mechanics to freeze or slow down enemies. It also featured a complete overhaul of the final Palace boss, the addition of two new weapons, and four new tools.

In a statement, the studio noted that while they had originally planned two updates, they decided to combine the most important elements into this single release to conclude the game's first year. The developers expressed gratitude to the community for supporting their first game as a studio.
