The Saint Lucia Kings have moved to the top of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026 standings following a six-wicket victory over the Jamaica Kingsmen at the Daren Sammy Cricket Ground.

Barbadian seamer Matthew Forde delivered a career-best performance, claiming 5-31. His five-wicket haul restricted the Kingsmen to 169-9. Forde is currently the tournament's leading wicket-taker with 12 wickets.

In the chase, Kamil Pooran anchored the innings with an unbeaten 81 off 49 balls. He was supported by debutant Obus Pienaar, who scored an unbeaten 34 off 14 balls, helping the Kings reach the target with 10 balls to spare.
