eVision introduces AI and predictive tools for the retail sector

To mark its 25th anniversary, the Sicilian software company eVision hosted an event in Ragusa to showcase new technological advancements for the large-scale retail sector (GDO). The company is shifting its focus from traditional data collection to predictive technologies and real-time decision-making.

Key developments include the updated CDAplus platform, an integrated management system that connects administrative data, points of sale, cash registers, warehouses, and distribution centers. Additionally, the company introduced BEA, an artificial intelligence assistant designed for retail managers. BEA allows users to query big data using natural language to analyze sales, seasonality, and operational anomalies in real time. eVision is also currently developing predictive tools aimed at anticipating market dynamics.
