EVN Finance plans 1.1 trillion VND capital increase via private placement
EVN Finance (EVF) has approved a detailed plan to increase its charter capital through a private placement of up to 85 million shares, representing approximately 11.18% of its outstanding stock. The shares are expected to be offered at a price of 13,500 VND per share, which is roughly 14.4% higher than the closing price of 11,550 VND recorded on October 15.
If successful, the issuance could raise approximately 1.147 trillion VND, intended for customer credit provision during the 2026–2027 period. Four professional securities investors have registered to participate: Leadvisors Capital Group, Japan Vietnam Capital Fund I, L.P., SSI Fund Management Co., Ltd., and Daiwa-SSIAM Vietnam Growth Fund IV (USD) L.P. Leadvisors Capital Group is the largest prospective buyer, aiming to purchase 40 million shares for 540 billion VND, which would grant it a 4.73% stake in EVF.
Additionally, EVF plans to raise capital internationally by issuing up to 300 million USD in private placement bonds in Singapore. These 3-year bonds are intended for listing on the Singapore Exchange (SGX) in the fourth quarter of 2026.
