EVNHANOI prepares power supply plan for National Assembly session
EVNHANOI has developed a comprehensive plan to ensure safe, continuous, and high-quality electricity supply for the second session of the 16th National Assembly. The session is scheduled to take place at the National Assembly House and other delegate locations in Hanoi from October 17 to November 21, 2026.
The plan covers two phases: the first from October 17 to November 13, and the second from November 19 to November 21. Key locations requiring guaranteed power include the National Assembly House, Ba Dinh Hall, the Office of the National Assembly, hotels and guest houses for delegates, and media outlets.
To maintain stability, EVNHANOI will suspend all power outages for grid upgrades or maintenance during this period. Peak load in Hanoi is forecasted to reach approximately 4,966 MW, with a maximum daily output of about 100 million kWh. Critical sites will be equipped with dual grid sources, diesel generators, and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to ensure redundancy.
