EVNPECC3 appoints new Deputy General Director after executive detentions
EVNPECC3 (Electricity Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 3) has announced significant leadership changes following the detention of several top executives. The Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency has ordered the temporary detention of Chairman Nguyen Nhu Hoang Tuan, General Director Lac Thai Phuoc, and Chief Accountant Pham Hoang Vinh.
In response to these developments, the company appointed Ho Anh Tung, formerly the Sales Manager, as Deputy General Director for a five-year term effective August 6, 2026. EVNPECC3 is also scheduled to hold an extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in the third quarter of 2026.
Financially, the company reported mixed results for Q2 2026. While net revenue fell 54% year-on-year to approximately 31 billion VND due to unfavorable project acceptance, net profit after tax rose 33% to 2.7 billion VND, aided by the reversal of provisions for bad debts. For the first half of 2026, pre-tax profit reached nearly 7 billion VND, a 10% decrease compared to the same period in 2025.
