EVO France to move from Nice to Paris in 2027
The EVO France fighting game tournament will move from Nice to Paris for its third edition, scheduled for October 22–24, 2027. Organizers New Esports Org. (NEO) and RTS announced the relocation to accommodate growing interest in the event.
NEO President Bertrand Amar stated that the move to the capital is intended to allow the tournament to “change dimension” and become one of the largest esports and community events globally. The decision follows the recent conclusion of the 2026 edition in Nice, where nearly 20,000 visitors attended.
A primary driver for the relocation is capacity; organizers noted that the Palais des Expositions in Nice has reached its maximum capacity. While a specific venue in Paris has not yet been announced, the move aims to leverage the city's international accessibility and larger infrastructure to support the expansion of the Evo circuit.
