evopro systems engineering AG becomes Bosch Rexroth ctrlX OS OEM partner
evopro systems engineering AG, a subsidiary of Bertrandt AG, has announced its new role as an OEM partner for Bosch Rexroth’s Linux-based ctrlX OS. This partnership aims to integrate machine vision with industrial automation through a unified software basis.
As part of this initiative, evopro is launching the evoVIU VIUx, which is identified as the first software-defined camera on this new platform. The device combines industrial image processing, Edge AI, and automation directly at the machine level.
Additionally, evopro’s VISIONWEBx software will be ported to ctrlX OS and made available as an application in the ctrlX OS Store. This allows for the development, operation, and scaling of vision applications across various hardware, ranging from compact cameras to high-performance servers.
