Evraz prepares employee lists for military mobilization protection

Internal documents from the steel conglomerate Evraz indicate that Russian companies have begun preparing lists of employees to be protected from military mobilization. An order signed by Alexey Golovatenko, Chief Operating Officer of the West Siberian Metallurgical Combine, directs the creation of a list of Russian citizen reservists to be submitted to the military commissariat in Nizhny Tagil.

The document requests that listed employees sign consent forms for this protection. Notably, the lists reportedly exclude the youngest employees born in 2002 and 2003, though no reason was provided for this omission. While the document does not constitute an official order for a new mobilization, it suggests administrative preparations to distinguish essential economic personnel from those available for military service.

Kremlin officials, including Dmitry Peskov and Dmitry Medvedev, have dismissed reports of a new mobilization as false information. However, the administrative actions by large industrial entities suggest a level of organizational readiness for potential state requirements.
