Evri faces delivery delays amid UK network overhaul

Evri is experiencing delivery delays across its UK network, affecting shops and Post Office branches. The disruption has caused a mounting backlog in ParcelShops, with parcels remaining in stores for several days.

The issues are reportedly linked to a network overhaul in which the company is transitioning from large, centralized depots to smaller local sites. To address the backlog, Evri is expected to implement recovery measures including the addition of more than 100 collection routes and approximately 330 new sweeper vans to improve capacity.

Evri operates a vast network including over 11,000 ParcelShops and lockers, 500 delivery hubs, and thousands of Post Office service points. The company was acquired by the US private equity firm Apollo in 2024 and merged with DHL eCommerce UK in 2025.
