Evrytania road network to receive 1.5 million euros for repairs

Fanis Spanos, the Governor of Central Greece, has signed a decision to allocate 1,500,000 euros for the restoration of provincial roads in the Evrytania regional unit. The project is part of the Regional Development Program of Central Greece for 2026-2030 and falls under the 'Road Safety' priority axis.

The initiative aims to improve road accessibility and address damage caused by long-term use and extreme weather events. It also focuses on reinforcing infrastructure against landslide phenomena to enhance safety for residents and visitors.

Planned interventions include earthworks, technical repairs, the construction and restoration of retaining walls, and storm drainage improvements. Additionally, the project covers road surfacing, the installation and replacement of safety barriers, the renewal of horizontal and vertical signage, and the maintenance of electromechanical installations and street lighting.
