Şevval Sam is a prominent Turkish actress and singer who has maintained a dual career in television and music for many years. Born on November 11, 1973, in Istanbul, she is the daughter of musician Leman Sam and Selim Sam.

Sam gained widespread recognition through her role as Deniz in the series ‘Süper Baba’. Her subsequent acting career includes notable roles in productions such as ‘Feride’, ‘Gülbeyaz’, ‘Kara Kutu’, and ‘Bodrum Masalı’. She achieved significant popularity playing the character Ender Çelebi in the series ‘Yasak Elma’, and has appeared in more recent projects like ‘Yan Oda’ and ‘RU’.

In addition to acting, Sam released her first studio album, ‘Sek’, in 2006. Her musical repertoire spans various genres, including Black Sea folk songs, arabesque, tango, and Turkish classical music.

Regarding her personal life, Sam was married to former national footballer Metin Tekin in 1993; the marriage ended in 1999. They have a son, Tarık Emir Tekin (also known as Taro Emir Tekin), who has followed in his mother's footsteps by pursuing an acting career.
