Evyatar David reunited with family after Hamas captivity

Evyatar David has been reunited with his family one year after appearing in a Hamas propaganda video that showed him in a severely emaciated state. In the video, David was forced to dig what he was told would be his own grave.

His brother, Ilay David, recounted the struggle to bring attention to Evyatar’s condition, noting that he appealed to politicians, diplomats, and journalists in an effort to save his life. Evyatar, who was released from captivity, is now home and has reunited with his brother, even performing music at a family wedding.
