Ewa Swoboda wins 100m at Wiesław Maniaka Memorial

Sprinter Ewa Swoboda secured a victory in the 100-meter dash at the Wiesław Maniaka Memorial in Szczecin, setting a new record for the event with a time of 11.11 seconds. The European vice-champion expressed pride in her performance, describing it as potentially the best season of her career.

Jodean Williams finished in second place with a time of 11.22 seconds, followed by Ashanti Moore in third with 11.25 seconds. In the men's competition, Abdul-Rasheed Saminu from Ghana claimed victory. Local athlete Maja Słodzińska placed fourth in the women's high jump with a result of 1.80 meters.
