EWG cooperative implements over 100 solar systems in Switzerland

The EWG cooperative has successfully implemented over 100 photovoltaic systems in the Pfannenstil region of Switzerland. With more than 120 members, the group has installed a total of 6,300 solar panels.

The energy generated is sufficient to heat 3,000 Minergie-standard apartments using geothermal probes or to power 3,000 electric vehicles for 5,000 kilometers annually. The cooperative utilizes a self-build model where professional planners and site managers handle technical requirements, permits, and electrical certification, while members and their associates perform simpler installation tasks under professional supervision to reduce costs.
