Ewha Mother and Baby Hospital celebrates 7,000 deliveries

Ewha Mother and Baby Hospital held its second symposium to celebrate its second anniversary and the milestone of reaching 7,000 cumulative deliveries. The event, attended by approximately 120 participants, focused on sharing clinical experiences and the latest medical knowledge regarding high-risk mothers and newborns.

The symposium was divided into two main sessions. The first session, titled ‘What’s New’, covered topics such as safe vaginal delivery in twin pregnancies, antiphospholipid syndrome in pregnancy, diagnosis and treatment of neonatal dimples, and the integration of AI agents in clinical settings.

The second session, ‘Safe Mother - Safe Baby’, addressed obstetric emergency management, latest trends in neonatal resuscitation, team-based emergency response for postpartum hemorrhage using simulation training, and practical training experiences for premature birth management.

Hospital Director Park Mi-hye credited the achievement to the dedication of the medical staff and emphasized the hospital's commitment to providing safe and warm medical services through continued research and clinical practice, despite the challenging environment of low birth rates.
