Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital celebrates 33rd anniversary

Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital held a ceremony to commemorate its 33rd anniversary. During the event, Yoo Kyung-ha, Vice President of Medical Affairs at Ewha Womans University, announced the ‘3+3 Project’ to strengthen the hospital’s internal stability and growth.

The project focuses on three main pillars: fostering three new specialized centers to complement existing specialized hospitals (Women’s Cancer, Urology, and Hematology Oncology); improving efficiency in time, space, and manpower while maximizing the utility of operating rooms, emergency rooms, and examination rooms; and enhancing organizational culture through a daily practice of gratitude and praise.

Hospital Director Kim Han-su outlined a vision for the future centered on three directions: strengthening capabilities for severe and specialized medical treatment, investing in human-centered AI and new technologies, and improving the clinical environment for both patients and staff. The hospital continues to establish its role as a critical care-centered institution.
