Ewoud Vromant wins bronze at Para-cycling World Championships
Belgian cyclist Ewoud Vromant secured a bronze medal in the MC2 time trial at the Para-cycling World Championships in Huntsville. Vromant finished with a time of 18:22.81, following two French riders who claimed the top two spots.
Alexandre Léauté won the world title with a time of 17:57.12, while his compatriot Arthur Bauchet took silver in 17:59.48. This marks Belgium’s second medal of the championships, following Marvin Odent’s gold on Friday.
Vromant expressed satisfaction with the result after a quieter competitive season in 2025. He is scheduled to compete in the MC2 road race on Monday, noting that having already secured a medal allows him to race aggressively. Looking ahead, Vromant and his coach, Remko Meeusen, plan to travel to Los Angeles to prepare for the 2028 Paralympic Games.
