Ex Hacienda de Chautla launches Chautla Encantada night park

The Ex Hacienda de Chautla in Puebla has expanded its tourism offerings with the launch of ‘Chautla Encantada’, an immersive theme park designed for nocturnal exploration. The project utilizes the site’s forests, springs, and historical areas to provide sensory experiences through artistic lighting.

Currently, the park features 1,200 meters of trails and 10 attractions located across the woods, spring zones, and dungeon areas. Plans are in place to expand this to 15 distinct experiences. To maintain interest throughout the year, the park will update its thematic settings at least every six months, with seasonal themes including Day of the Dead, Christmas, and spring.

Michelle Talavera Herrera, executive director of Conventions and Parks, stated that the initiative aims to utilize spaces within the hacienda that previously lacked nighttime activities, thereby encouraging longer visitor stays in the region. During the current ‘Catrineras Chautla 2026’ season, the park is open from Thursday to Sunday, between 18:00 and 23:00 hours.
