Exceed prepares for Rose Stakes following summer break

The three-year-old filly Exceed, full sister to the champion Equinox, is preparing for the 44th Rose Stakes (G2) at Hanshin Racecourse on September 13. This marks her first race since winning the Carnation Cup in May.

Training staff at the Kimura stable noted that while her physical size remains similar, she has appeared more robust and powerful following the summer break. Recent training sessions at Miho have shown positive times, including a 53.8-second mark on the uphill course. The team aims to secure a top-three finish to earn priority entry into the Shuka Sho.
