Executive leadership changes at Weischer OOH and TX Group

Simon Kloos is stepping down from his role as Chief Growth Officer at Weischer OOH after nearly five years in management. Kloos credited his tenure with driving economic success through the expansion of client business, agency brands, and the development of data, consulting, and AI competencies. CEO Tobias Hefele expressed gratitude for Kloos’s role in the company’s strategic and economic growth. A successor has not yet been announced.

In Switzerland, TX Group has announced that COO Tanja zu Waldeck is leaving the group management. The move is part of an effort to streamline the organization. Following her departure, Daniel Mönch will manage Goldbach activities and central Group Services alongside his COO mandate. As a result, the CEOs of Tamedia and 20 Minuten will report directly to the Board of Directors.

The leadership change follows a challenging first half-year for TX Group, which reported a consolidated loss of 14.6 million Swiss francs, compared to a profit of 4.2 million in the previous year. This loss was driven by a one-time non-cash impairment of 46.4 million Swiss francs at Goldbach.
