Exequiel Zeballos transfers from Boca Juniors to AC Monza

Boca Juniors has officially confirmed the sale of 24-year-old forward Exequiel Zeballos to Italian Serie A club AC Monza. The transfer was finalized during the closing stages of the European transfer window.

Financial details of the deal include an initial payment of approximately 4.5 million euros (or 5 million dollars) to Boca Juniors. The agreement also features a strategic clause granting Boca a 40% sell-on fee based on any future profit Monza makes from a subsequent sale of the player.

The move allows Boca to avoid losing the player for free, as his contract was set to expire in late 2026. Zeballos, who recorded 16 goals and 16 assists in 140 matches for the Argentine club, is expected to sign a contract with Monza running until June 30, 2030, following successful medical examinations.
