Exequiel Zeballos transfers from Boca Juniors to Monza

Exequiel Zeballos has completed his transfer from Boca Juniors to the Italian Serie A club Monza. The deal was structured as a full sale for 4 million euros, with Boca Juniors retaining a 40% percentage of any future resale profit.

Zeballos, who spent a decade at Boca after rising through the youth ranks, will wear the number 22 jersey at Monza. He noted the choice was inspired by his former teammate Kevin Zenón and the number's association with Pocho Lavezzi in Italy. During his farewell, Zeballos reflected on his career, citing the Superclásico as his most significant memory.

His tenure at Boca Juniors included 140 official matches, 16 goals, and 16 assists. He also secured five titles with the club: the 2020 Copa de la Liga, the 2020 Copa Argentina, the 2022 Copa de la Liga, the 2022 Liga Profesional, and the 2023 Supercopa Argentina.
