Exeter Chiefs prepare for Bristol Bears clash with new signings

Exeter Chiefs director of rugby Rob Baxter has expressed confidence in his new signings ahead of the team’s competitive return against Bristol Bears in the PREM Rugby Cup. Following a friendly against Scarlets, Baxter noted that summer arrivals such as Sam Wolstenholme, Will Butt, and Harry Wilson have already demonstrated the quality and depth required for the squad.

For the upcoming match at Sandy Park, Baxter has named five debutants in the matchday 23. The lineup includes Wolstenholme at scrum-half, Butt in the centres, and Wilson in the back row. Additionally, club captain Jack Yeandle is set to return at hooker after an injury layoff lasting since April.
