The Exeter Chiefs have strengthened their squad for the upcoming match against the Newcastle Red Bulls at Sandy Park with the return of international players Tom Hooper and Ross Vintcent.

Hooper, an Australian back-rower, joins the matchday 23 for the first time this season following his return from international duty. Italian international Ross Vintcent will start at openside flanker. Additionally, summer signing Sam Harris is set to make his Premiership debut at full-back, replacing the injured Olly Woodburn.

Director of rugby Rob Baxter noted the need for continued improvement following the team's recent performances against Gloucester and Bath. He described the Newcastle Red Bulls as a “very dangerous side” with “strength and quality individuals.”
