Exeter City faces confidence issues amid slow League Two start

Exeter City manager Matt Taylor has expressed concerns regarding his team’s confidence following a difficult start to the 2026-27 League Two season. Currently sitting 21st in the table, the Grecians have secured only six points from their opening eight league matches, consisting of one win, three draws, and four losses.

A primary concern for Taylor is the team's lack of scoring, having managed only four goals so far and failing to score in their last four league outings. While the team has struggled on the road, they remain unbeaten at home this season with one win and three draws.

Exeter City is scheduled to face Rotherham United in their upcoming league fixture. Rotherham United, managed by Alex Bruce, currently occupies 13th place in the standings. The Millers have maintained an unbeaten run in their last four matches across all competitions.
