Ana Beatriz Nogueira Undergoes Ovarian Artery Procedure, Recovering

Brazilian actress Ana Beatriz Nogueira, 59, was admitted to the Clínica São Vicente in the Gávea district of Rio de Janeiro on Friday, 24 July. She underwent a cauterization of an ovarian artery; the procedure was reported as successful and her condition was described as stable.

She was discharged later and is now recuperating at home. Her team said she plans to return to rehearsals for the stage play “Boa Noite, Mãe” on Monday, 27 July. Nogueira, who has lived with multiple sclerosis since 2009, continues working in television and theatre, emphasizing that her health issue does not halt her professional commitments.
