Exim Bank Tanzania provides free breast cancer screening

Exim Bank Tanzania, through its Exim Cares program, conducted a breast cancer awareness initiative in Dar es Salaam. The event provided free education and screening services to bank employees and local community members.

In collaboration with specialists from the Ocean Road Cancer Institute, participants received information regarding symptoms, the importance of medical assessments, and steps to take upon detecting unusual changes. The initiative aims to reduce fear and misconceptions that often delay medical intervention.

The program was held in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year's theme, ‘Every story is unique, every step matters’, emphasizes the need for accurate information and timely support for those affected by the disease.
