EXIT Festival holds record-breaking event at Giza Pyramids
The EXIT Festival successfully held its first multi-day electronic music festival, titled Starlight, at the Giza Pyramids in Egypt. The event drew tens of thousands of attendees representing 114 different countries, marking a significant milestone for the Serbian brand.
Organizers reported that the festival reached 100% of its planned capacity. The lineup featured international A-list DJs including Charlotte de Witte, Adriatique, and Pete Tong, alongside various regional and Serbian performers.
In response to critical coverage from certain media outlets claiming the event failed, EXIT organizers defended the success of the venture. They noted that the festival has faced significant domestic challenges in Serbia, including loss of funding and personal pressures, following the organization's support for student protests.
