Exit Festival's Malta Spiral debut and Hugel tops Shazam chart

The first edition of the Spiral Festival, part of Exit's world tour, was held from July 31 to August 2 on Malta. Hosted at Gianpula Village and later at Café del Mar, the event attracted around 20,000 visitors and featured global electronic acts such as Fatboy Slim, Nina Kraviz, Lilly Palmer and Argy, alongside Serbian artists like Divolly & Markward. The three‑day programme included a pool‑party finale and set the stage for upcoming Exit events in Montenegro and Egypt.

French DJ Hugel, a headline act of the Exit to Montenegro Sea Dance edition in Bečići, achieved the top two positions on the global Shazam chart with “Movin’ To The Sun” and “Jamaican (Bam Bam)”. The tracks also led UK sales and streaming charts, and his debut album “Twenty One” entered the UK Dance Albums top five. Hugel is scheduled to perform at Sea Dance on August 28.
