Expats share perspectives on living in Poland
Two expatriates have shared their personal experiences regarding their decision to live in Poland, highlighting different aspects of life in the country.
Kev Fitzsimons, a musician from New Zealand, expressed his admiration for the Polish autumn. He noted that unlike the relatively consistent greenery in New Zealand, the dramatic seasonal changes and vibrant colors in Poland were unexpected and impressive. He described the landscape as looking “as if it were on fire.”
Alex Morzynska, who returned to Poland after living in the United Kingdom for 17 years, highlighted differences in safety and convenience. She stated that she feels significantly safer walking the streets in Poland compared to her time in London. Additionally, she praised the ease of using the Polish mobile payment system, BLIK, noting its efficiency for transferring money.
