Expedition 74 crew set to depart ISS on Soyuz MS‑28

NASA astronaut Chris Williams and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Kud‑Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev will close the hatch between the Soyuz MS‑28 spacecraft and the International Space Station at roughly 11:30 p.m. EDT on July 26 2026. The trio, together with the rest of the ten‑person Expedition 74 crew, will then undock, perform the de‑orbit burn and land on the Kazakh steppe near Dzhezkazgan.

The Expedition 74 mission ends after 241 days aboard the ISS, during which the crew logged 3,856 orbits and travelled more than 102 million miles. Their departure marks the start of Expedition 75. Live coverage of the undocking, de‑orbit and landing was provided by NASA across multiple platforms.
