Breeders' Cup Keeneland Expensive Queen Lush Lips horse racing

Thoroughbred horses Expensive Queen and Lush Lips completed morning drills at Keeneland ahead of the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf scheduled for Saturday.

Expensive Queen, trained by Brendan Walsh, worked three furlongs on the turf track in 38.8 seconds. Her recent performance included a sixth-place finish in the Grade 1 First Lady at Keeneland.

Lush Lips also worked three furlongs on the turf, recording a time of 38.2 seconds. Since breaking her maiden in 2024, Lush Lips has not finished lower than second place, most recently placing second in the Grade 1 First Lady.
