Experiment e.V. opens applications for weltwärts volunteer program

The German exchange organization Experiment e.V. is currently accepting applications for the ‘weltwärts’ volunteer program for departures in 2027. Funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) since 2008, the program offers partial financing for young adults aged 18 to 28 (with exceptions up to 35) to engage in social projects abroad.

Volunteers can serve for six, nine, or twelve months in countries including Argentina, Benin, Ecuador, India, Mexico, or Tanzania. Projects focus on sectors such as education, social services, agriculture, environment, and sustainable development. The application deadline for spring or summer 2027 departures is March 31, 2026.
