Explora Journeys and Oceania Cruises unveil 2028 luxury cruise seasons
Explora Journeys opened bookings for its Summer 2028 season, marking the first time all six of its ships will sail simultaneously. The program offers 178 destinations across 27 countries, with itineraries that include the Eastern and Western Mediterranean, North Europe, Iceland, Greenland, Alaska, and the U.S. East Coast. Highlights feature overnight stays in New York, Reykjavik, Istanbul, Lisbon, Quebec and new ports such as Croatia’s Korčula and the Faroe Islands. President Anna Nash said, “Esta é uma verdadeira celebração de tudo o que a Explora Journeys representa. A conclusão da nossa frota nos permite oferecer uma abrangência geográfica ainda maior…”
Oceania Cruises released its 2028‑2029 collection, comprising more than 230 itineraries that range from seven to 180 days and include over 60 overnight port stays. The voyages cover lesser‑visited sites such as the ancient ruins of Ephesus, Japan’s remote harbours of Ishigaki and Miyazaki, and Iceland’s Húsavík, as well as major cities like Copenhagen, Lisbon, Bangkok and Bali. The line introduced the inaugural 180‑day “World Cruise” on the Oceania Aurelia, sailing from Miami and Los Angeles to New York, and announced a second Mediterranean winter season and renewed Alaska sailings. Chief luxury officer Jason Montague noted, “This new, expansive collection reflects our passion for immersive travel opportunities…”.
