Expo 2025 celebrates first anniversary with USJ collaboration and pop-up store

To celebrate the first anniversary of Expo 2025, the “EXPO Beat Jam” event was held on October 13, 2026, at Universal Studios Japan’s Gramercy Park. Organized by Osaka Prefecture, Osaka City, and the Osaka Vitality Creation Promotion Executive Committee, the event featured a collaboration between the Expo’s official character, Myaku-Myaku, and various Universal Studios Japan characters, including Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Hello Kitty, and Woody Woodpecker.

Performances included music and dance from Atarashii Gakko!, Awa Odori by Naniwa-ren, and a mini-live concert by Kobukuro, who performed the official Expo 2025 theme song, “Kono Chikyu no Tsuzuki wo.”

Additionally, Heso Production will host a limited-time “EXPO 2025 Official Pop-up Store” at Hands Shibuya in Tokyo from October 15 to November 15, 2026. The official character Myaku-Myaku is scheduled to visit the store on October 31.
