Sarajevo hosts 100 EXPO international business fair
The second International Business Fair, 100 EXPO, has opened in Sarajevo, bringing together 250 exhibitors from five countries, including Croatia, Serbia, India, Turkey, and Germany. Held at the Hotel Hills on October 20 and 21, the event is part of the 39th edition of the ‘100 Largest in BiH and the Region’ project.
Lidija Bradara, President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, officially opened the fair. In her address, she emphasized the potential for investment in Bosnia and Herzegovina but warned that unresolved issues, such as the status of state property, continue to hinder economic progress and discourage large-scale investments.
Key participants include representatives from the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Chamber of Commerce of Croatia, and the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia. Discussions at the event focus on regional economic cooperation, removing trade barriers, and connecting domestic companies with global value chains. The fair also features specialized pavilions and panels addressing regional cooperation and investment strategies.
