Expo Acero 2026 opens in Santiago de los Caballeros

The fourth edition of Expo Acero Santiago 2026 has opened in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. The event, held from September 18 to 20 at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), brings together more than 100 national and international brands from the steel construction industry.

Founder Francisco Javier Durán noted that the city is undergoing significant transformation due to infrastructure investments. He highlighted that public investment in the province has exceeded RD$110,000 million over the last five years, involving more than 200 projects, including the Santiago Monorail. The fair includes participation from seven universities and features the United States as an invited country.
