Expo Aire 2026 returns to Palencia with 200 artworks

The outdoor art exhibition ‘Arte en la Naturaleza. Expo Aire’ is set to return to the Huerta de Guadián in Palencia from August 26 to 30. Organized by the Asociación Cultural Grupo Muriel with support from the Palencia City Council, the event coincides with the San Antolín festivities.

The exhibition will feature approximately 200 works from local, national, and international creators. To better integrate the art with the natural environment, the organization is implementing a complete renewal of the urban setup, including 26 new display panels designed for the park's trees and paths.

The official opening ceremony will take place on Wednesday, August 26, featuring Palencia Mayor Miriam Andrés and Culture Councilor Francisco Fernández. The event will also include special recognitions for the City Council's technical collaboration and a posthumous tribute to Pilar González, a member of the Muriel association.
