Expo Arte dei Due Mari 2026 to connect Messina and Reggio Calabria

The Expo Arte dei Due Mari 2026, themed ‘Connections’, is set to take place from September 26 to October 25, spanning 12 exhibition venues across Messina and Reggio Calabria. Organized by the Biennale d’Arte di Messina, the event aims to bridge the two sides of the Strait through contemporary art, photography, sculpture, and music.

Featured participants include artist Glenda Safonte, whose work ‘Oltre’ will be exhibited at the Monte di Pietà in Messina, and Valentina Mistretta, who will present works focusing on architectural themes. The program includes diverse disciplines such as science-related exhibitions promoted by the CNR, musical performances, and explorations of the relationship between art and artificial intelligence.
