Expo Castex 17th edition opens in Eduardo Castex

The 17th edition of Expo Castex has officially opened at the Club Estudiantil in Eduardo Castex, La Pampa. The event brings together companies, producers, artisans, and various institutions to showcase the productive and commercial potential of the local and regional sectors.

Due to weather conditions, the opening ceremony was moved to the Teodoro Peralbo gymnasium. The inauguration included a ribbon-cutting, a blessing by Father Juan Carlos Baigorria, and the raising of the club flag. Attendees included municipal Mayor Mónica Curutchet, Club Estudiantil President Lucas Bruno, and Provincial Subsecretary of Agrarian Affairs Ricardo Baraldi.

The exhibition features diverse sectors, including livestock, gastronomy, and small-scale entrepreneurship. Local entrepreneurs presented products ranging from handmade crafts and aromas to event services. The Ministry of Production of La Pampa is supporting the initiative to bolster regional development and highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects, such as the Frigorífico Ciclo II, to assist local producers.
