Coahuila hosts CNOG 90th Anniversary and Rodeo Saltillo

The 90th Anniversary of the National Confederation of Livestock Organizations of Mexico (CNOG) is being commemorated in Coahuila. The event, which brings together over 1,500 producers from across the country, was inaugurated by Governor Manolo Jiménez Salinas in Arteaga. CNOG President Homero García de la Llata emphasized the importance of unity and organized representation for the nation's livestock sector.

The convention is held in conjunction with the Rodeo Saltillo 2026, hosted at the newly inaugurated Expo Coahuila. This infrastructure project, representing an investment of over 270 million pesos, aims to boost regional tourism and economic development. Local authorities expect high hotel occupancy and significant economic impact from the festival.

Attendees are advised of weather forecasts predicting cold temperatures and rain during the event. Additionally, organizers have implemented specific security protocols regarding prohibited items at the venue and provided free shuttle services from designated parking areas to facilitate movement for visitors.
