Expo FADA 2026 launches in Dominican Republic to boost architecture and design sector

The first edition of Expo FADA 2026, a fair focused on architecture, design and finishes, opened on July 3‑4 at the Hotel Jaragua in Santo Domingo. Organized by Optimo Construction Network and Perfil Urbano, the event gathered architects, designers, manufacturers, suppliers, developers and builders for two days of product exhibitions and expert conferences.

Jesús Rosado, founder of Perfil Urbano, said the sector’s growth “will only be possible if the industry continues to work together, strengthening alliances between companies, professionals and institutions.” Francisco Javier Durán, founder of Optimo Construction Networking, added that the expo was created to provide a dedicated space for knowledge exchange, business opportunities and to showcase trends transforming the industry. Gold‑category participants include +Infinito, Vanta and Cielos Acústicos. The fair aims to promote innovation, collaboration and commercial opportunities within the Dominican Republic’s architecture and design market.
