Expo Fish Portugal to focus on innovation in Viana do Castelo

The Expo Fish Portugal conference will take place on November 5 at the Teatro Municipal Sá de Miranda in Viana do Castelo. The event aims to bring together maritime professionals and representatives to discuss how innovation can enhance competitiveness within the fishing industry.

Under the theme “From Sea to Market: Innovation as a Lever for Competitiveness,” the program will examine the impact of new technologies and approaches across the entire value chain, including production, processing, marketing, and consumption. The event will feature keynote speaker Miguel Marques and a roundtable discussion involving experts from the Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere, Fórum Oceano, INESC-TEC. OCEAN, the National Association of the Cold Industry and Food Product Trade, and the Portuguese Association of Aquaculturists.

Additionally, the conference will include the presentation of finalists and the announcement of winners for the Expo Fish Portugal Innovation Award.
