Expo Nacional Ferretera 2026 showcases Mexican manufacturing and Brazilian plastic exports

The Expo Nacional Ferretera 2026, held in Guadalajara, Mexico, serves as a major international hub for the hardware, construction, and electrical sectors. During the event, Tramontina de México announced a significant expansion of its domestic operations by presenting its first lines of products manufactured at its new plant in Lerma, State of Mexico.

Tramontina is showcasing over 400 products across various categories, including home and kitchenware, tableware, and infrastructure solutions such as stainless steel sinks and tools. This move aims to increase the company's responsiveness to the Mexican market through local production.

Representing Brazil, the Think Plastic Brazil program is bringing 16 companies to the exhibition through a partnership between ApexBrasil and the Instituto Nacional do Plástico (INP). The delegation aims to utilize Mexico as a gateway to North American markets. Following a successful 2025 participation that projected millions in business, the 2026 group includes companies such as Atlas, Enerbras, Fame, MarGirius, and Unipega.
