Expo Prado exhibition held in Montevideo

The 121st edition of the Expo Prado, an international livestock, agro-industrial, and commercial exhibition, is being held in Montevideo from September 11 to 20.

As part of the event, the account ‘Falklands de Cerca’ is participating to engage the Uruguayan public regarding tourism, agriculture, and life in the islands. This follows a history of presence at the exhibition, including official delegations and stands documented by the British Embassy in Montevideo since 2015, aimed at strengthening commercial and cultural ties with Uruguay.

Due to the event, significant traffic modifications are in effect around the venue. Intersections including Buschental with Lucas Obes and Delmira Agustini, and Atilio Pelossi with Hugo Balzo and 19 de Abril, are subject to closures. Public transport lines, including 17, 76, 125, 127, 128, 130, 137, 181, 183, 306, 370, 409, 427, 494, 526, 546, 582, G, and L28, will modify their routes on weekends between 12:00 and 20:00. Parking is also prohibited on several surrounding streets.
