Argentina: New credit lines launched for SMEs and agriculture

In Catamarca, the Ministry of Finance and Public Works has partnered with Banco de la Nación Argentina to launch new credit lines for micro-SMEs. Announced by Governor Raúl Jalil during Expo Catamarca 2026, the funding aims to support working capital and sustainable investment. Working capital loans offer up to $300 million over 12 months with subsidized interest rates. Additionally, investment lines for sustainable production and environmental reconversion are available with repayment terms ranging from 50 to 72 months.

In Córdoba, Governor Martín Llaryora introduced $30 billion in financing through Bancor to support the agricultural sector. Presented at the 79th Jesús María Rural Expo, these credit lines target producers and agribusinesses for the purchase of inputs, livestock, machinery, and infrastructure. The financing includes subsidized rates starting at 11% in pesos and options at 0% in dollars, with terms of up to 48 months.

Other regional educational updates include the opening of the XVII National Meeting of CECA Argentina in Catamarca, which brings together over 390 participants from across Latin America to discuss museum education. Additionally, students from Batán have been selected to represent Buenos Aires at the National Education Fair in Córdoba with a project focused on local tourism.
