Expofacic Festival Hosts José Cid and João Pedro Pais in Cantanhede

Portuguese singer José Cid, aged 84, delivered a two‑and‑a‑half hour concert at the Expofacic festival in Cantanhede, performing a selection of his most celebrated songs. The show featured guest appearances by Paulino Coelho, Mário Mata and young fadista Carolina Pessoa, adding further highlights to the evening.

On the same stage, João Pedro Pais promised a high‑energy performance, describing it as “do caraças”. He reflected on his three‑decade career, noting upcoming collaborations and the importance of audience connection.
