Export Academy launches university training in Istanbul

The Export Academy has launched its university education program at Istanbul Commerce University. This initiative is part of a cooperation protocol signed between the Ministry of Trade and the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) to improve the quality of human resources in the foreign trade sector.

As an elective course for undergraduate students, the 14-week program titled ‘Turkey’s Export Policy and Basic Components’ covers a wide range of topics. The curriculum includes fundamental concepts and legislation of foreign trade, export supports, e-export, international trade rules, payment and delivery methods, and market research.

Additionally, the course will address global economic developments, product safety, free zones, and international trade data sources. The program aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical industry experience, helping students develop the competencies required for Turkey’s export ecosystem.
